In addition to rent, building maintenance and utility bills are included in the monthly housing cost. Building maintenance costs are shared between the households living in the same building. And the cost is usually paid in proportion to the size of the space where you live.
Building maintenance costs vary from as little as $40 to as much as $1,200, depending on the quality of the building, the number of building officers, elevators, and the number of the residents to share them, and also the size of the common space that needs to be maintained.
Utilities vary depending on individual life style, but in spring and autumn, when air conditioners or heaters are not used, they range from about 50¢ to 75¢ per ㎡, and in summer and winter, they cost around 1.5$ to 4$ per ㎡ depending on the age of the building and the ceiling height.
Internet costs are relatively cheap compared to other countries. When it goes with 3year contract with the speed of 500mbps the price will be around 22$ per month including WIFI.  This will be transferred to your new place when you move to other place in Seoul.  For the 1 or 2 year contract, the price will go up around 1/3 higher than the price for 3 years. They normally ask a copy of your alien registration card and the first page of your Korean bank book for automatic bank transfer.
